Hi Everyone!
Many of you have asked about how to do digital posters and where to get them printed.
I found out that Staples offers small posters (11 x 17) for $9-&12.
Also, they have online design software where you can load templates and use Advanced Edit features to change the colors and add images. This might be a great program for you to try for your project.
Good luck!

- Synthesize a one-paragraph response about your learning so far this year
- Remember my favorite word..."support"
- Draft first in Microsoft Word
- Edit, spell check
- Copy and paste into a blog comment

Welcome to 7th Grade!
Welcome to my Team Voyager students of 2011-2012 ~ It's going to be a great year in Language Arts...it's not just about reading & writing, but about thinking and growing and EVERYONE is able to find their place on that path!
Our focus this year will be on personal growth in the area of traditional literacy (reading, writing, viewing, speaking) as well as more complex skills such as applying, analyzing, evaluating, and synthesizing. You will learn to think critically about all your academic studies and will discover many different approaches to successful learning. Literacy is everywhere and Language Arts is a great place to discover new literature, deepen your thinking, and sharpen your writing skills. Additionally, I will work to integrate technology in our literacy studies as that is a key part of the language and processing skills many of you already possess.
Ways to be successful learners in the classroom AND in life:
Parents, also feel free to leave a note :)
See you in class!
